Obermain, which originated from Germany in 1888, prided itself as a handcrafted, stylish yet comfortable footwear brand for European men.  It offered a broad range of designs from dressy oxfords to casual sandals.

In 2001, Transmarco Group of Companies decided to take an important and strategic focus to expand the brand and its collection.

Obermain, comprising of footwear and accessories, had its presence in the region boosted with the opening of concept stores in Singapore and Malaysia.

The desire for innovation drove the brand to further invest in product research and development in footwear components.  The systematic and consistent experimentations resulted in the creation of advanced footwear technologies including the Active Technologies and the iconic Air Cool technology.

Today, Obermain continues its German legacy and engineering with the emphasis to produce stylish, innovative and comfortable footwear and accessories for the discerning men.
